I am a graduate student at the University of Missouri.  I am studying Public Health and Social Work. One day, I hope to open a free clinic for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.  Hopefully, this blog will help to educate men and women on the intricate aspects of violence against women and how to prevent more violence.

Violence against women can occur in many different forms.  This blog will focus on multiple forms: domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault.  The aim of this blog is not to just inform people about the prevalence and incidence of violence against women, but to help people recognize situations of violence and educate people on how to prevent further violence from occurring.

*This blog was created for a graduate-level public health course and does not officially represent the views of the University, professor, or other relate entity.
